Apr. 3 Bunny Eggstravanganza Bring the family for the annual Bunny Eggstravaganza! This exciting holiday event features a traditional egg hunt, clowns, balloons artists and a visit from two very special bunnies! Bring your camera and a pail to hold all of your candy and prizes.
May 6 Spirit of Mission Days Carnival, parade, hot dogs, bands, vendors, cotton candy, sno cones, Abdallah Shriners, a commuity fair - what more could you ask for? The Spirit of Mission Days will have some real spunk, energy and spirit this year from a unique variety of activities and entertainment for people of all ages. Kicking off the event will be a carnival, opening on Thursday, May 6th, parade on Saturday, May 8th and running through Sunday, May 9th.
Blood Pressure Screening - Feb. 15 - Dec. 20 The Johnson County Public Health Department provides free monthly blood pressure screenings in the Adult Lounge of the Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center. The screenings are held the third Monday of each month.

Foot Care Clinic - Mar. 18 Foot care clinics are provided on the second Thursday of every other month of the year and include: a foot soak, a foot scrub with foot soap, trimming of nails, and then feet creamed with a lotion. Appointments can be made between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Diabetics cannot be accommodated. Ages 50 & Older.
